Doctoral student, Ji-Eun Lee, participated in the Simon Initiative's LearnLab Summer School at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA

Ji-Eun Lee, a doctoral student in the Instructional Technology and Learning Science Department here at USU spent last week in Pittsburgh. She was accepted to participate in the Simon Initiative's LearnLab Summer School at Carnegie Mellon University from July 10-14, 2017.

This is an intensive one-week summer school on advanced learning technologies and technology-enhanced learning experiments. Ji-Eun took part in the Educational Data Mining track. The summer school is taught by leading researchers at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University.

Ji-Eun Lee reported, "I was involved in the EDM track and learned how to analyze an educational data set using data mining tools and methods. I also did a week-long project and presented the findings on the last day of the summer school."
